(18+) Why does Krist like touching Singto's bottom?? 😈 - Krist & Singto

How to Touch the Bottom of a Pool

Two Methods:

Every beginner swimmer dreams of diving through the depths of the deep end, cutting, instantly, through 10–15 feet (3.0–4.6 m) of water. Even advanced swimmers love the exhilarating feeling of skimming parallel to the floor of the pool. Touching the bottom of the pool is a goal amateur divers set for themselves, while advanced or professional divers improve their form and timing.

Steps

With a diving board

  1. Go to a local or private pool that has a diving board that you are allowed to use.
  2. Set the diving board to a loose setting, for some boards are set stiff. You might need some help doing this, but only do it if you are not breaking any rules.
  3. Climb up the steps on the board.
  4. Walk quickly to the point where the tip of your big toe is about 3–4 inches (7.6–10.2 cm) away from the edge of the diving board.Do not run or ever hesitate/stop while doing this, for it can cause death or a major injury.
  5. Coil up the leg muscles, mainly in the shin-area, and copy the movement with your whole body.
  6. Push down on the diving board with as much pressure as you can.
  7. Suck in as much air as you can and jump with a 60-90 degree curve towards the water with your hands and fingers completely straight, and one hand placed on top of another.
  8. Feel the momentum take you down somewhere between halfway to three fourths of the distance of the pool.
  9. When you feel the momentumcompletelystop, then take your spear-like hands and use them to propel you towards the bottom of the pool by making them come to your sides.
  10. If you used enough power, then you should be at the bottom, or at least a stroke away.Hold your breath a little longer.
  11. Touch the bottom of the pool with your hand.
  12. Place your feet on the pool bottom and kick off towards the surface.

Without a diving board

  1. Go to any community or private pool that houses a deep end, which varies from 10–15 feet (3.0–4.6 m) of water.
  2. Walk to the deep end and place your toes on the edge of the pool, where the water crashes against the pool wall.
  3. Bend you knees, coil up your body, and jump about 5 feet (1.5 m) away from your initial standing point, while in a completely vertical position that will help you cut through the water with the help of your outstretched hands.
  4. Feel the momentum take you down somewhere between halfway to three fourths of the distance of the pool.
  5. When you feel the momentumcompletelystop, then take your spear-like hands and use them to propel you towards the bottom of the pool by making them come to your sides.
  6. If you used enough power, then you should be at the bottom, or at least a stroke away.Hold your breath a little longer.
  7. Touch the bottom of the pool with your hand.
  8. Place your feet on the pool bottom and kick off towards the surface.
  9. Finished.

  • Question
I sometimes lose my breath while trying to touch the deep end. What should I do?

    Community Answer
Jump from the edge of the pool, straight up in the air, and then plunge down feet first. This will help you get to the bottom faster.
    Thanks!
  • Question
How do I do it while in the water and not from jumping off the wall or a board?

    Community Answer
Any way you want to. The best was underwater is pushing off the wall diagonally so you head straight towards the bottom. Also, if you let your breath out, you sink more easily. You can also dive off the diving board and touch the bottom.
    Thanks!

  • It helps if you practice a lot.
  • If you want to sink extremely quick, instead of sucking in breath, huff it all out before you dive, but you have to quick when breaking through the surface.
  • Try applying much more force than necessary the first few times.
  • The vertical you are positioned when you have jumped, the safer you will be when touching the bottom.

Warnings

  • Avoid doing belly flops.
  • Don't risk your life doing this. If you need to breathe, then go up for air.
  • There are chances of death, paralysis, "swimmer's ear", drowning, cramps, injuries, and large medical bills.
